Baseus PicoGo Air: ultra-slim portable power bank

Baseus has introduced the new PicoGo Air portable power bank, which is aiming to be the thinnest in its category. The device measures just 6.9 mm thick.

It has a 5,000 mAh battery, providing enough capacity to top up a phone. PicoGo Air supports 15 W magnetic wireless charging as well as 22.5 W wired fast charging.

PowerSenseNFC battery status monitoring

One of PicoGo Air’s distinctive features is PowerSenseNFC. By tapping a phone against the power bank, users can view the precise remaining charge level in the app. This removes the need to rely on flashing indicator lights.

Cooling system and included cable

Baseus has also focused on heat management. The device uses the Glacier Heat Dissipation Structure system, a VC heat spreader and an aluminium-alloy casing to help regulate temperatures while charging. Its adaptive temperature-control system is designed to keep the process stable and safe.

PicoGo Air comes with a short cable that supports fast charging at up to 60 W. The power bank itself is offered in three colours, while its built-in magnets provide a secure attachment.

At present, PicoGo Air is available in China for 299 yuan (about $44). International availability has not yet been announced, although Baseus has previously brought its products to global markets, so the device is expected to reach other markets in the coming months.
