Xiaomi Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Pro: price and availability

Xiaomi has expanded its home-appliance line-up with the Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Pro, an upright wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner. The new model is already listed on JD.com for 2499 yuan (365 dollars), while early buyers can purchase it for a reduced price of 2149 yuan (315 dollars). Sales begin on 19 April.

Cleaning and self-cleaning features

The appliance is designed to wash floors while simultaneously picking up dirt. Xiaomi states that it delivers suction power of up to 26,000 Pa and produces steam at 160°C, which is intended to dissolve grime, sterilise surfaces and wash the floor. The model also includes a 100°C hot-water self-cleaning function.

Battery life reaches 40 minutes

According to Xiaomi, the battery provides up to 40 minutes of operating time, which should be sufficient for routine cleaning around the home.
